The community bike ride went to each of the murals recently put up. The ride began at the first mural located at 197 Palm Ave (7-11) at 3:00 pm.
Said Todd Stands of the IB arts Bureau, "we;ve had about 100 people in the past 2 days painting w us on this 150' mural..
Everything is moving along great. The community wall is well underway with lots of community participation (I even painted a bit myself).
Lots of people came out Saturday from all over IB and SD.. youngest painter was a 3yo... very beautiful day on the estuary..
The public is invited to join them Saturday, April 14th and Sunday, April 15th in helping paint the mural.

This year's theme is: Landscapes of California's 51st District. The art competition winner will receive a trip to Washington, D.C. for the 2018 Congressional Art Competition Reception and their winning art piece will be displayed in the Capitol building for an entire year.
