Mar Vista High School PTSA and Volunteers Clean-up near Baseball Field

On September 14th, Mar Vista High School PTSA members and volunteers did a campus clean up starting at the Southwest corner of the campus by the baseball field. They were motivated by the city's improvements to Imperial Beach Blvd and they wanted to continue the trend according to Evelyn Ramseier Vice President of the Mar Vista High School PTSA. They worked with Mar Vista Baseball Director, Bobby Rector and other volunteers weeding, raking, and cleaning up the first 30 feet inside the fence going from West to as far East as they could get in the 3 hours they worked.

Feature Clean-ups Planned
Although no firm dates are set at this time for future clean-ups. The PTSA does have plans to continue moving East and move into the Football/Track Stadium and then into the parking lot.

Anyone in the community can participate and be PTSA members, you don't have to have a child/grandchild at Mar Vista High School!
