MTS Public Meeting for Proposed Rapid Transit Service to run between Otay Mesa and Imperial Beach at the IB Library on Monday, September 16th!

MTS is holding a Public Meeting for Proposed Rapid Transit Service to run between Otay Mesa and Imperial Beach at the Imperial Beach Library on Monday, September 16th and Otay Nestor Library Tuesday, September 17th  


  MTS is planning a new Rapid transit service and we need your input!

 

The proposed Rapid is a new high-frequency service that will run between Otay Mesa and Imperial Beach—connecting residents to the beach, jobs, activity centers, and transit options like the UC San Diego Blue Line and local bus routes.  MTS invites you to participate in the project’s MetroQuest survey and to attend a public meeting this month.

 

Metroquest Survey is live!

The Metroquest survey is an online survey that allows public members to learn about the new transit service and provide input on the new service.  Please use the following URLs to access the survey:

Public Meetings

Two public meetings are scheduled in September in the Imperial Beach and Otay-Nestor communities. Community members are invited to stop by the open-house style meeting to learn about the proposed service from the project team and provide comments & feedback. Refreshments will be served and Spanish-speaking staff will be available.

 

·         Public Meeting #1: Imperial Beach

WHEN: Monday, September 16 -  6:00pm-8:00pm

WHERE: Imperial Beach Library
                 810 Imperial Beach Blvd
                 Imperial Beach, CA 91932

          (Take MTS to the Meeting: Routes 901, 933/934)

 

·         Public Meeting #2: Otay-Nestor

WHEN: Tuesday, September 17 - 5:30pm-7:30pm

WHERE: Otay Mesa – Nestor Library
                3003 Coronado Ave
                San Diego, CA 92154

(Take MTS to the Meeting: Routes 901, 932)
