Symphony by the Sea

(IMPERIAL BEACH, CA – September 30, 2019) The City of Imperial Beach is hosting the Symphony by the Sea on October 5, 2019, starting at 6:30 p.m. in Portwood Pier Plaza. We will again welcome the San Diego State University Wind Symphony and Symphony Orchestra to enchant us during the evening, with a special performance by Mar Vista High School.

The Symphony by the Sea event highlights the Imperial Beach beachfront and the unique Portwood Pier Plaza, featuring beautiful orchestral music in an unmatched setting. Surrounded by magnificent vistas of the beach and the golden sunset, relax and unwind as you enjoy an evening out with your family, friends, and neighbors.

This enchanting evening hosted by the City of Imperial Beach is presented by the Port of San Diego through their generous Tidelands Activation Program Grant. SDG&E also graciously sponsored this event, creating a memorable experience free to everyone!

We encourage the community to bring their blankets and a picnic dinner to enjoy while attending one of the best Imperial Beach events of the year during our beautiful endless summer season!
