Friday, September 13 “Friday the 13” show” with the featured band of the month, War Fever. If you missed these guys at Allen Camps Birthday Bash last month now is your time to see them. They self-released Decay of Infamy on February 9, 2018. It has an old school punk sound, with eleven songs quick and in your face. War Fever is known for writing songs about life, the good, the bad, the ugly and everything in between. The song Fade to Grey is a whopping one minute and twenty-one seconds long. It starts off with some heavy lyrics “We don’t care whether or not we care.” Decay of Infamy is full of breakdowns and crunching riffs. Lead Vocalist BJ Anderson’s gnarly voice complements the band's hard-hitting riffs and drums. They are quickly becoming one of San Diego’s top punk rock bands. Also opening for the legendary Guttermouth on September 21 at the Soda Bar, War Fever is showing no sign of slowing down anytime soon. Also, on this crazy bill is Vertigoat, Systematic Abuse and L.A.’s own WGAF. Come on out, the moon will be full, the crazy’s will be out, and moshing starts at 9:00 pm. Back at it September 14 at the Salty Frog, Riot Scene Presents Deathboys, Roman Watchdogs and Three Kings Band. The thrashing starts at 9:00 pm.
