Supervisor Cox to recognizing Comic-Con for 50th Annerversaryon Tuesday, July 9th


WHAT:            Fresh off signing an agreement to stay in San Diego through 2024, County Supervisor Greg Cox will recognize Comic-Con as it approaches its 50th anniversary.

 

The 50th annual Comic-Con kicks off the evening of July 17 and runs through July 21. It will be held at the San Diego Convention Center, in Supervisor Cox’s district.

 

Comic-Con attracts more than 130,000 visitors from around the world to San Diego, boosting the local economy and shining a global media spotlight on the region.

 

WHEN:            9 a.m., Tuesday, July 9

 

WHERE:         Board of Supervisors Chambers, County Administration Center

1600 Pacific Highway, San Diego

 

2019 Comic-Con International: San Diego will begin on

Thursday, July 18th and ends on Sunday, July 21
