Deb's Cookie Jar is Relocating across the Street with the Grand Re-opening set for September 1st!

Deb's Cookie Jar was an immediate hit with the community when the doors opened in June of 2016.  Not only was Deb's a successful gourmet cookie shop. It quickly turned into a favorite of locals know for the big and tasty breakfast meals they served.

When I spoke with Deb about the grand reopening she said that the new shop will be set up like an Internet café. Said Deb, “People will be able to come in enjoy their baked goods and coffee and Wi-Fi.” She will also have fresh cookie delivery through GrubHub, Uber eats, Postmates and Door Dash."

Deb will be keeping the same phone number and plans on opening Tuesday through Saturday. The tentative time will be from 11 am to 7 pm. When Deb reopens in September she will be focusing on pies, cupcakes, brownies and other tasty baked goods on top of her gourmet cookies. Deb's Cookie Jar will be in the front part of the building where her husband's business IB Printing is located. IB Printing`s entrance will now be located on the west side of the building. There is a parking lot in the back of the building if you cannot find a spot in the street front.

The New address is 668 10th St, Imperial Beach, CA 91932.

Ever since she opened Deb's Cookie Jar, Deb has had to get up & at it around 5:00 am mixing the dough, baking cookies, brownies, biscuits, muffins & prepping for breakfast all before the store even opens. When the door opens for business, customers are welcomed with delightful cookies, coffee, and breakfast with a beautiful aroma of fresh baked cookies & bacon filling up the store and Deb with a beautiful smile from ear to ear as she welcomes her customers.

Said Deb about everything, “I am truly grateful for all the friendships I’ve made, the people that I’ve touched & that have touched me. They’ve given me so many beautiful memories and learning experiences. I’m really blessed, and all I can say is thank you!”

It`s been an incredible amount of invested labor time, an incredible amount of hours spent daily just to make things run smoothly, but time spent with much love. I wish I could continue serving breakfast, but I am truly pooped. So… Breakfast will be given its last rites on Sunday, July 21st from 9:00 am – 2:00pm. So come & get it while you can, the clock is ticking. Thank you so very much, it has always been a dream of mine to have a breakfast spot & because all of you I was able to do that successfully. Thanks for all the love.”

An Interesting fact:

Deb first started selling her cookies and other tasty treats at the Imperial Beach Certified Farmer's Market in 2014.

Deb`s almond coconut chocolate chip cookie was featured in San Diego`s best magazine for best cookies of 2018
