South Bay Establishes Citizens Oversight Committee

School District is Accepting Applications for Bond Oversight Committee


Imperial Beach, CA – The South Bay Union School District is required by Proposition 39 and Section 15278 of the Education Code to establish a Citizen Oversight Committee for the Proposition X, Proposition Y, and Measure NN Bonds. 


The Citizens Oversight Committee is responsible for informing the public about the District's expenditures of bond proceeds, reviewing expenditures to ensure that bond proceeds are expended only for the purposes set forth in the Bond Measures, and presenting reports to the Board of Trustees.

Completed applications are public record and are available for public review.  If you have any questions, please contact the District Office.
