The Imperial Beach Chamber of Commerce hosted its 17th Annual Christmas

Comes to I.B. event on Saturday, December 1st from 12 pm to 4 pm at Portwood Pier Plaza. Santa and Mrs. Clause arrived at 12:00 pm thanks to the IB Fire Department. Admission was free for everyone.

Hundreds of children along with their family members were on hand to enjoy the festivities. Santa Clause, of course, was the big attraction and children lined up in long lines to get their photo taken with Santa. A large stage for

holiday entertainers performed throughout the day. The IB Woman's Club had a table for the children to make crafts and Deb's Cookie Jar had a booth handing out coffee, hot chocolate and of course delicious cookies.

The Imperial Beach Chamber of Commerce would not be able to provide such a wonderful Christmas holiday celebration without the generous donations and efforts by many local businesses, the Unified Port of San Diego and volunteers.

Thanks to Bryan Brillhart for his photos of Santa.
