Breaking News: Ruling Just In, The City of San Diego SMART Project at Super 8 Motel on Palm Avenue Requires Coastal Development Permit

Dec 13, 2018 04:24PM ● By Paul Spear

RE: Final Ruling (CDP Required)

The judge has confirmed his tentative ruling that the city’s SMART Project at the Super 8 Motel requires a Coastal Development Permit (CDP).  If the CA Coastal Commission denies this CDP, the SMART Project cannot go forward to completion.  However, CA Coastal Commission decisions may be appealed.  The primary mission and purpose of our non-profit organization (Citizens for South Bay Coastal Access) is to preserve, restore and protect access to San Diego’s coastal south bay.  Please stay tuned for further updates.

Thank you,

Rodel Reyes,
Otay Mesa-Nestor Community Resident
(City of San Diego, 92154) &
President, Citizens for South Bay Coastal Access
