Update on Palm Ave Super 8 Motel SMART Project Lawsuit - CITIZENS FOR SOUTH BAY COASTAL ACCESS VS CITY OF SAN DIEGO

Our non-profit organization, Citizens for South Bay Coastal Access (CSBCA) would like to give you an update on our lawsuit (filed 12/17) against San Diego City’s Misdemeanant At-Risk Track (SMART) project at the Super 8 Motel (1788 Palm Avenue, San Diego, CA 92154).   The judge has tentatively ruled (see Pdf document attachment in and pasted below) in our favor that the SMART project requires a Coastal Development Permit (CDP).  A final hearing was held on Wednesday, November 28 where the judge allowed the city of San Diego extra time for additional arguments.  A final ruling will be rendered in several weeks.

Thank you for this update goes to:
Rodel Reyes,
Otay Mesa-Nestor Community Resident (City of San Diego, 92154) &
