Middle School Coach Baseball
Opening Date: August 1, 2018 Closing Date: August 15, 2018

Job Description: Provide coaching to the Middle School Athletics Programs in the following South Bay Union School District Middle Schools: Nestor Language Academy and Imperial Beach Charter-Main in partnership with the Southbay Union School District and Sweetwater Union High School District. Provide an appreciation of physical fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and team spirit.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Implementation of Program –coordinate and supervise youth in sports team; promote and appreciate physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship; training and coaching program; organize team to assure the program is implemented properly.

 Supervision of Members - establish and maintain a fun, safe and positive environment conducive to youth development; members will be supervised at all times; foster positive reinforcement; recognize member participation and achievement; foster safety policies and procedures. Proper documentation and protocols is to be in compliance with organizations policies and procedures providing direct services to members.

 Customer Service- Communicate effectively with SWUHSD, SBUSD, and BGCSC employees to ensure program is operating appropriately; communicate game/practice schedules with team members, parents and supervisor. Welcome and acknowledge all members and visitors; provide responsive and helpful assistance to visitors; must be able to effectively communicate with children, parents, and school personnel.

Hours: 8 week baseball session, not including playoffs if advance Weekly practice schedule

Salary: $600 Stipend
