Imperial Beach Artists to Add Art Murals at the Scoreboard, State Farm Building and the Alley Wall Next to Chase Bank

Imperial Beach City Councilman Mark West and Todd Stands and David Frink from the Imperial Beach Arts Bureau and other artists from Imperial Beach have been busy this spring and summer getting locations for murals to help with the Imperial Beach Beautification Project. These projects have
Brian Hebets who did the infamous 7/11 mural is back in town. Brian will be painting on the State Farm building at 12th and Palm Avenue. Its theme will reflect global warming and rising water levels with a "City Under Water" from what I hear from Todd Stands.
Local Imperial Beach artist Kristin Minchuk will be painting the mural at the Scoreboard with Baja Racer and Landscape and sports.
Another Imperial Beach artist, Michelle Ferrera, will be working the alley wall next to Chase Bank. According to Todd Stands along with other volunteers.
