Annual Powwow by the Sea is a Two-Day Celebration of Life and the Summer Solstice taking Place at Pier Plaza Saturday, June 16th and Sunday, June 17th


The Pow Wow also serve as a reminder of what the area's inhabitants and their culture looked like centuries ago. The Pow Wow by the Sea, presented in conjunction with the City of Imperial Beach was held last year June 17th & 18th at the IB Pier Plaza’s grassy knoll and featured authentic Native American crafts, jewelry, tasty treats, dancers, and a drum circle. The Pow Wow is organized by The Bridge and the Powwow by the Sea community board

The BRIDGE (InterTribal Youth) exists to prepare Native American students for a brighter future through hands-on life experiences that combine academics, adventure travel, health and wellness, cultural exploration and economic opportunities.
