Saturday's 15th Annual Taste of IB Showcased Some of the Best of what IB has to Offer!

The Imperial Beach Chamber of Commerce's 15th Annual Taste of IB showcased some of the best restaurants and businesses along Seacoast Drive traveling from Pier Plaza out to the end of the IB Pier and the Tin Fish and then back and then traveling north down Seacoast Drive and turning on Palm and ending at the Fleet Reserve of Fillips depending on the route you chose. Once event goers checked in at Pier Plaza and picked up their bag from the IB Chamber of Commerce they were free to go in whatever direction they wished. In between were 14 fabulous eating establishments and 4 other businesses.

During the 4-hour eating extravaganza put on by the Imperial Beach Chamber of Commerce, ticket holders got to try delicious samplings from the from the menus or offerings from all the participating businesses. With a list of these businesses in hand, participants were able to travel up and down the route sample the tasty treats or offerings and then getting a card marked off once they had tried the offering from that business.  While traveling the route I heard many comments about what a great time people had, or you got to go try this or this was wonderful. The only complaint I heard was along the line of I don't know how I'm going to be able to eat all this great food!

Businesses that participated in the Imperial Chamber of Commerce 15th Annual Taste of IB included long-time eating establishments as well as the latest. They were: Tin Fish, Cowabunga Ice Cream, Brigantine, Bibbey"s Shells, Babycakes, Coronado Brewery, Vitamin Sea Wellness, Sea 180, Verandina, Aroma Thai, Pizza Luigi’s, VFW 5477, Seaside Candy, William Edwin Willis Photography, Ollie’s Skate Shop, Siam Imperial Thai, Fleet Reserve 289 and Filipi’s Pizza.

The non-eateries gave away little gifts for the visitors.
