IB “Rock The Walls” Mural Festival Bike Ride Saturday, April 21st

Update for the IB “Rock The Walls” mural festival.

Everything is moving along great.  The community wall is well underway with lots of community participation (I even painted a bit myself).

Next Saturday, April 21st, I am arranging a community bike ride to each of the murals.  The ride will begin at the first mural located at 197 Palm Ave (7-11) at 3:00 pm.  IB favorite Limebike has agreed to provide escooters, ebikes and traditional bikes for those people interested.  The route will then proceed to the community wall (end of 7th Ave) then to the former vape shop (1181 Palm Ave) and complete at the IB Public House (995 Palm Ave).  At each location the muralists will be available to explain the work and answer any questions citizens may have.  The route will be monitored by our sheriffs to ensure safety is paramount.  The IB Public House will be hosting an after party with discounted drinks and appetizers for all participants where we will have another opportunity to meet the muralists and celebrate the week.  The Mayor will say a few words and we hope to announce a new Ocean Friendly Restaurant in IB.
