Boys & Girls Club of Imperial Beach Plans Major Renovations

A Complete Makeover is Planned for the Boys and Girls Club In Imperial Beach. A complete new entrance is planned for the Oddermatt Clubhouse and will be located in the middle of the front of the club as opposed to off to the side where it is now. The drawing above is what the entrance is expected to look like after the remodel.

The Oddermatt Clubhouse will be completely remodeled. Beside the new entrance, all of the offices in the front will be gutted and opened up for a bigger area for the children to play and the offices will be moved to the back of the building where the temporary library was located. The
facility will have brand new floors built to withstand a beating and will look like hardwood floors. The dance room will remain located where is is now but that is the only item will be left up front when the from of the clubhouse is expanded to have a bigger room

the facility will have all new wiring and all of the restrooms will now be brand new. Some of the funds have been raised for the project already. However, it is expected that there will be various fundraisers held to help pay for the project.

The goal is to modernize the Odderman Clubhouse and make it something the community will be proud of like the new Imperial Beach Library. There are no plans to remodel the Gym at this time.

South Bay Urgent Care

At this time we don't know when the improvements will start other than it's expected to start soon. We are working to get dates for when the improvements will start and when they expect to be finished and where the children will go while the improvements are being made. We expect to have those questions answered shortly.
