Residents from the Palm City, Otay Mesa-west, Egger Highlands, Nestor, Ocean View Hills, Otay Mesa, and San Ysidro Neighborhoods Thank Police for Commitment, Hard Work, and Dedication!

The SDPD Southern Division (1120 27th Street, San Diego, CA 92154) Appreciation Luncheon’s Community Program was started to show appreciation to officers for their commitment, hard work, and dedication in serving San Diego City communities and

neighborhoods in the South Bay region. Southern Division’s jurisdiction covers Otay Mesa-Nestor community (Palm City, Otay Mesa-west, Egger Highlands, Nestor neighborhoods), Ocean View Hills, Otay Mesa, San Ysidro, which includes its border crossing (busiest in the world) that separates Tijuana, Mexico, from San Diego County, and the Tijuana River Valley. Southern Division serves an estimated population of 107, 631 people and encompasses 31.5 square miles.

Community supporters include Home Town Buffet, Souplantation, Sea Food City, Walmart, Pizza Hut, Costco, Sprouts, Filipino Grill, Papa John’s Pizza, Northgate, Neighborhood Realtor Lisa Ruth, Su Mercado, Domino’s Pizza, Berry and Emory Elementary Schools, and Otay Mesa-Nestor (OMN) community residents (92154). Their continued support is appreciation.

Some of the programs that Rodel Reyes has put together with the help of other community members include:

• Graffiti Abatement Committee of Residents (GACR)

• Litter Free Committee of Residents (LFCR)

• National Night Out Crime Prevention Fair Executive Team (NNOETM)

The community program is looking forward towards 2018. For more information, please contact Otay Mesa-Nestor Community resident and Founder Rodel at
