Serving Seniors was among Organizations Honored at IB Women's Club Luncheon Last Tuesday

Serving Seniors at St. Charles Nutrition Center along with the IB Library, Boys & Girls Club and VIP Preschool Where Among Some of the Local Groups and Organizations Honored at the Imperial Beach Women's Club Luncheon Held on Tuesday!

Also honored at the Imperial Beach Women's Club Luncheon where he Imperial Beach Junior Lifeguards, The Serving Seniors at St Charles program, a couple of local Girl Scout Troops and our own, Dig Imperial Beach.

The organization, Serving Seniors, provides luncheon meals at St. Charles Nutrition Center.  Hot and nutritious lunches are served on Monday through Friday from 11:00am to 12:30pm. There is a suggested donation amount and a drop box available for all the seniors availing of this service.

Serving Seniors also provides meals for homebound residents in the area who are unable to come to the Nutrition Center.  These meals are delivered daily, Monday through Friday, and can include weekend meals that would be delivered on Friday.

The hot lunch program at the Center and the homebound meal delivery program are open to all seniors who:

  • Are 60 years of age and older.
  • Have signed up for the program.
