Congratulations to the Imperial Beach Woman's Club on Their 84th Anniversary this Month!

Imperial Beach Woman's Club to Be Honored at Wednesday Night's Imperial Beach City Council Meeting! Congratulations to the Imperial Beach Woman's Club on Their 84th Anniversary this Month!

The IBWC is 84 years young this month. The Imperial Beach City Council will be presenting them with a proclamation at Wednesday’s Council Meeting. Hope to see you there – 6:00 p.m.

They help so many different people and activities in Imperial Beach and are Imperial Beach's oldest service club. 

The below is from an article that is a couple of years ogl but they do similar activities every year!

The Imperial Beach Woman's Club helps lots of organizations in our community. Here is were just some of their help went to: Imperial Beach Library - Donation, Mar Vista HS Band - Donation, Mar Vista Middle School Band - Donation, SBUSD So Bay Music Club - Donation, IB Jr. Lifeguards - Donation, Girl Scout Troop #5447 - Donation, Girl Scout Troop #5957 - Donation, Serving Seniors (St. Charles) - Donation, Balboa Park Committee of 100 - Donation, VIP Village - Donation, Art Kids of San Diego - Donation, Imperial Beach Senior Center - Donation, Pearl Kelly - Christmas Trees, Imperial Beach Chamber of Commerce (Santa comes to IB).

The IBWC also adopt a couple of families at Christmas time. This included: 4 -  $500 scholarships to our high schools, donation to the kids going to the Freedom Foundation in DC, they purchased chairs for the IB Senior Center, purchased a bench for Veterans Park, and they bought the IB Fire Dept. a BBQ.
