As part of Port of San Diego Experiences, the Port’s Waterfront Arts and Activation Department invites the public to enjoy Fern Street Circus on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Pepper Park, 3299 Tidelands Avenue, National City.

At this free, family-friendly event, Fern Street Circus will be entertaining guests with puppets, jugglers, aerialists and more.  There will be interactive workshops on hooping and tightwire and an approximately 60-minute long circus performance.  Guests will also enjoy gourmet popcorn, face painting, a photo booth, and giveaways.

The Fern Street Circus event is part of the Port of San Diego’s 2017 Celebration of the Arts Month.  It is one of two public events scheduled during the month of October. An open-air film screening of Landfill Harmonic on Broadway Pier will take place on Friday, October 27, 2017.

The Port’s Celebration of the Arts Month is a way that the Port acknowledges National Arts and Humanities Month and gives the Port an opportunity to showcase the importance of the arts to its employees and the public.
