Aug 18, 2017 01:13AM ● By Paul Spear
Lead by Coach Sweet and a Bunch of New Freshman, the Mariner Novice Football Team Scrimmaged vs El Cajon on Thursday August 16th at 3pm on their Home Field!

Most players are still fighting it out for positions and playing time this early in the season. As you can see from the uniforms, it's still to early to assign numbers for the players. But Coach Sweet
and the rest of the team of coaches got to see their players in action today as the Mar Vista Novice Football Team got to go up against El Cajon in a scrimmage wednesday afternoon Mar Vista High School. The Mariner Novice  team in the white uniforms and black helmets split the field with the Junior Varsity team who was taking on San Ysidro at the same time on the North end of the field while the novice team had the south end of the field.

The Novice will next play Monte Vista at 3pm at home on Thursday the 24th of August at 3pm while the Varsity football Team will take on Monte Vista st 7pm on Friday August 25th at 7pm at Mar Vista,

Please be sure to catch the video we have at the bottom of the article with the Mariner Novice Offense running plays againsts El Cajon!
