I Love a Clean San Diego,SDG&E and the City of Imperial Beach on Saturday, August 5th

Looking for something to do on a free Saturday morning?

Spend it with ILACSD, SDG&E and the City of Imperial Beach on Saturday, August 5th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM for our Clean Cities Initiative Imperial Beach!

The City of Imperial Beach is working towards making their city bike and public transportation friendly by presenting the new Bikeway Village and Bayshore Bikeway! It is the perfect pit stop for bicyclist, birdwatchers, and those looking to escape the San Diego hustle! To celebrate this new green, eco-friendly, and active establishment, we are hosting a cleanup! Ride your bike over and help keep inland debris from traveling out to the ocean of this beautiful, family-friendly surf town!

Volunteers will meet at 536 13th Street Imperial Beach Blvd, CA 91932.

As always, we require volunteers to fill out a waiver form in order to participate and encourage you to bring reusable items such as a water bottle, work gloves or a bucket in order to promote zero-waste practices! Take it one step further and ride your bike over to the cleanup to really make it an eco-friendly event!

Register here!

Please let me know if you have any question at any time! I will be in touch about the cleanup next week to make sure we are all set!

Thank you all!
