Jul 05, 2017 11:22PM ● By Linda Heath

With over 200 People Present for the grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony including City Officials, IB Fire Department and Chamber of Commerce, Jersey Mikes was off to a Great Start!

It was a phenomenal turnout for the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Jersey Mike's.  Among those attending were the Imperial Beach Manager, Kevyn Welch, Corporate Owners Raul Esses, Marc Wornivitzky llan Wornovitzky and Alan Jehamy.  The Mayor Serge Dedina, City Council Members Ed Spriggs and Mark West, Ed Vea and Andy Hall; several of the IB Fire Department officers, Chamber of Commerce President Karen Odermatt, Valerie Acevez President Elect and Secretary Erika Lowery and others; and Estean Lenyoun representing the 9th and Palm Breakwater Shopping Center Developers, Sudberry Properties.

A large gathering of Community Residents were also present to join in and welcome the famous Sub Shop to IB.  Great enthusiasm was demonstrated by all and much applause was heard from the crowd as the ribbon was cut signifying that they were finally open for business.

The staff of the Restaurant was out in full force and after the opening, supplied subs, and sides to all comers in an efficient and courteous manner.  The subs were large and well dressed and all were pleased with them.  I personally had the Philly Cheese Steak and will order it again.  It was large and De-Licous!

Welcome to IB Jersey Mike's and we are glad to see you!
