Don't miss out on the best Event on July 4th The IB Bike Parade starts at 9am at Mar Vista High School but you'll want to arrive early.

In 2012 when the City of Imperial Beach Did away with the US Sandcastle Open Greg Hughes along with his family decided they wanted to do something for the community and the started the IB Bike Parade and it was an immediate success. Greg with his wife Shannon mom, Bonnie and father and friends all pitched in and did a Pancake Breakfast after the bike ride and it has just kept on growing. They probably had about 2,000 people riding their bikes or other vehicles on the Fourth of July and a few hundred showed up for the breakfast.

The bike parade starts at 9am with assembly starting at 8.30.

Bring your kids, dress up and have a blast riding through the streets of Imperial Beach on Monday July 4th. Meet in the parking lot in front of Mar Vista High School and be ready to leave at 8am sharp and when you are done join in the pancake breakfast at the finish line at Greg Hughes's House at 320 Date Ave. where he and his family host a pancake breakfast. Lots of people bring items to pitch in for the Pancake Breakfast and party that follows but it is not a requirement.
