Global Wellness Day 2017 Featured Many Health Minded Activities for Community to Enjoy!

At 11am Cyclists left on a 5k riding down Seacoast Drive à Bayshore Bikeway à Loop around at the brand new Bikeway Village à head back to IB Pier Plaza
For those who do not join the bike ride we’ll still have the farmers market open. The Farmers Market was open with over 20 vendors offering their normal fare of art, crafts and cuisine from “around the world” or fitness related booths. For others there was Yoga-inspired stretching or Zumba ramp-up with a Zumba demo with Tracy Murray.
There was also an Inspirational Speaker: Melvin Graham to share his story, which covers fitness preparation and overcoming obstacles to reach fitness goals.
Also being offered were: Fitness Demos with the Foundry, Massage Chairs, Kids Games and Face Painting.
Around 12pm they cyclists returned from Bike Ride for a Historic IB Community Photo
Pier South, the major sponsor of the event gave away an Eco-Wellness Weekend and two Beach Cruiser bikes.
Everyone who participated had a great time despite the overcast and slightly drizzly weather.
