Mar Vista High School Mariners Girls Softball Team Announces 2017 Award Winners!

The Mar Vista High School Mariners Girls Softball which Finishes the Year as South Bay League Champions with an 11-1 Record in League Play and 22-9 Overall Announced Their 2017 Award Winners!

Coach by Tracey Garcia to a South Bay League Championship, the Lady Mariners finished with 3 players on the First Team All League:
Emily Leslie (Player of the Year), Abigail Rivera (Pitcher of the Year) and Jazmyne Gomez.

Earning 2nd Team All League Honors for the Lady Mariners were: 
Erika Sanchez and Ana James.

Winners of Individual Team Awards were the following:

MVP: Emily Leslie
MVP Pitcher: Abigail Rivera
Most Dedicated: Alyssa Ricks
Most Improved: Madelyn Macias
Golden Glove: Erika Sanchez
Super Slugger: Emily Leslie
Most Homeruns: Erika Sanchez
Most Stolen Bases: Emily Leslie
Most Spirited: Rebecca Romero
Utility Player of the Year: Jazmyne Gomez

Also, awards were handed out for 4 Year Letter Persons: Nalomeli Memea and Julianna Angeli
Team Captains for the year were: Nalomeli Memea and Emily Leslie
