Friday Night's 50 Year Reunion at the IB Boys Girls Club Brought Back Lots of Memories & Good Times for the 250 to 300 Attendees! With plenty of food, drink and fun games were on hand for attendees to play. A lot of the games the same as they played while they were kids growing up at the Club. Everyone had a great time at the Imperial Beach Boys and Girls Club 50 Year Reunion Celebration. Hamburgers and hot dogs were the main course with a wide variety of sides ranging from potato salad, regular salad, fruit salad and many more choices. They had beer and wine for those who drank and plenty of soft drinks, water and other choices for those who didn't or din't want to drink.
Stephanie James and Jennifer Lara, from the IB Boys and Girls Club were there at the door to greet people as they came in and check them off the list if they had prepaid or collect their money if they hadn't. Aaron Ruiz was working the beer booth and Ken Blinsman was having a great time mingling with all the guest that came that night.
Said Ken Blinsman, President of the Boys & Girls club of South County, "I t was great to see you all there. We had a lot of former staff that really added to the memories of the event. Thank you to everyone who traveled so far to be there! Thank you all for being there!"
One of the big hits of the night was a booth were people could dress up and get their photos taken together. You can see so many of these great photos on Ken Blinsman's Facebook page.
The recurring statement heard from most attendees was that they all had a terrific time at the Imperial Beach Boys and Girls Club reunion and thought it was a beautiful night of sharing stories with so many old friends. Great job organizers!
