Around 150 Volunteers Showed up & Collected Approximately 300 Pounds of Trash for a Community Clean-up in the13th Street & Imperial Beach Blvd Area!

This is the 3rd clean-up in Imperial Beach and was sponsored by I love a Clean San diego and a promise of Imperial Beach City Councilman Mark West when he ran for office last year. The approximately 150 participants in today's clean-up picked up in the neighborhood of 300 pounds of trash according to Councilman Mark West.

I've never seen the area around 13th Street & Imperial Beach Blvd. It really made a huge difference in the way the area looked. I've lived in this area of Imperial Beach for around 6 years and it made me want to do all I could to keep it clean in the future.

In January over 200 concerned citizens turned out for the I Love a Clean San Diego's Imperial Beach's Community Clean-up in the north part of Imperial Beach with the volunteers collecting around 845 Pounds of trash.
