Mar vista High School Mariner's Junior Varsity  Baseball Team Wins Sweetwater Tournament on Saturday with 7 - 5 Win Over Canyon Crest Academy. Varsity Drops Twin Bill to Coronado Islanders.

The Mariner's Junior Varsity Baseball Team went undefeated during the Sweetwater Tournament and won the Championship Game 7 to 5 on Saturday over Canyon Crest Academy. 

The Varsity baseball team didn't favor as well a it lost a doubleheader to the Coronado Islanders on Saturday. They lost the first game 12 to 5 and dropped the second game 13 to 5.

Up next for both teams is Hoover on Monday. The Varsity will be at home for a 3:30pm game while the Junior Varsity will be on the road.
