Come and Explore The Living Coast Discovery Center's "Back to Nature Exhibit"
Opening Beginning Saturday, March 18th and Runs Through Monday, September 4, 2017

Back to Nature is The Living Coast’s newest exhibit. Re-discover the wildlife that surrounds you. San Diego is the most biodiverse county in the continental United States! Learn how wildlife has adapted to life in the city among humans. Unplug, unwind, and get back to your roots. Learn about the history of Sweetwater Marsh and the Living Coast Discovery Center as we celebrate our 30 year anniversary!

What kinds of exhibits will there be?

Featuring native and non-native species, discover animals that have ‘invaded’ Southern California (like parrots), animals that have adapted to live in cities (like mice), and threatened wildlife that need your help to survive (sea turtles, butterflies). The brand-new Native Pollinator Garden gives perspective on how important plants and greenery are to animal (and human) survival.
