Mar Vista High School Lady Mariners Take Fifth-Place Finis. In The Hiller Novice Girls Water Polo Tournament on Saturday January 14th.With Help of New Assistant Coach Bobby Rector 

Mar Vista Polo Princesses have a new coach on staff this year, Bobby Rector. He is a teacher at Olympian and a long time Imperial Beach Little League coach. He takes on the responsibilities for the Novice Team and bolsters the water polo coaching staff by Chad Kavanagh and David Chalmers.
The Lady Mariners took a fifth place finish. In the Hiller Novice Girls Water Polo Tournament on Saturday January 14th. The first game versus Grossmont was a tough loss in overtime but the girls rallied to defeat El Capitan and Ranch Buena Vista.
Top scorer for the Mariners was Summer Chalmers with eight for the day and the balance by a wide array of players. The ladies played outstanding defense all day. Freshman Goalie, Pamela Munoz, had 18 saves.
