County Supervisor Cox Was Sworn In to 6th Term Monday

San Diego County Supervisor Greg Cox, Who Ran Unopposed, Was Sworn In to 6th Term on Monday. And has Been Serving the First District Since 1995. 

Supervisor Cox began his career in public service as a teacher in the Sweetwater Union High School District.  He was elected to the Chula Vista City Council and was elected to two terms as Mayor of Chula Vista. Then in 1995, Supervisor Cox joined the San Diego County Board of Supervisors in 1995 and has been serving District 1 ever since.

On Monday Supervisor Cox was sworn in to his 6th term in office at 9am at the Board Chambers, County Administration Center, 1600 Pacific Highway, San Diego.

District 1 includes the cities of Chula Vista, Coronado, Imperial Beach and National City, the unincorporated community of Bonita, and portions of Point Loma and southern communities in San Diego.
