Today, Friday January 13th KPasta Owners Craig and Annie Kirsner! released the following statement on their Facebook page.
To our loyal fans…
After a great deal of discussion on what is best for our family we have decided to close K-Pasta. The last day as K-Pasta will be Sunday, January 29th. It has been an incredible 5 1/2 years running this crazy circus of a restaurant. We put all of our energy, passion and love for simple, healthy, delicious food and amazingly people walked through our doors everyday. K-Pasta has become bigger then we could have ever imagined thanks to all of our incredibly loyal costumers that have become our extended family. We have built life long friendships with our coworkers and we have built a strong knowledge of restaurant ownership…including all of it’s numerous ups and downs.
We thank every one of you for the dedication, and for all the compliments you have given us through out the years. We will miss seeing your confused face when you walk in our door,
your delighted face when you taste our sauces, the casualness as you grab a table, the sweet kids faces when they gobble up the pasta, the confidence when you are a pro with ordering, the excited military men and women’s faces after returning from overseas, and the look of satisfaction and happiness when you walk out our doors. Plus we will miss the freshness of hand made pasta and sauces…
However, we are not leaving 13th St! We will soon open a coffee bar and cafe in it’s place. We do intend on carrying on our passion for whole, scratch made food. Except now we will be offering healthy, soul-satisfying breakfast and lunch. We plan on being open Monday - Sunday from 6am - 2pm. We will continue our loyalty program and honor all gift cards. We will launch our new website, giving more detail, and announce our opening day very soon. Please feel free to contact us with any concerns or questions at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to serving the IB and surrounding communities with the best quality ingredients and service. We hope that you continue to support us on this new, (and very scary), venture.
With great gratitude,
-Kraig and Annie Kirsner
