If you play basketball, then this league is for you! Get your Team Together and See if You Can Knock Off Last Year’s Champs the "South Bay Show"!

Unlike the Co-ed Softball League that has been dominated by one team for the last six seasons, the Men’s Basketball League that takes place on Tuesday night has had three different champions crowned in as many seasons. Last season, the experience and old-school play of the South Bay Show helped them on their championship run beating both the previous season’s champions. According to Program Director Bowe Fertig, “It was nice to see an older team come in and show the younger players a different style of basketball. This league provided great athletes and outside shooters, but high percentage shots and tough defense prevailed this season. The league was competitive and that is something that needs to continue. If you have what it takes to play basketball, this league is for you.”

The new season will look to begin mid-late January or when there are six teams signed up. If you have any questions, have a team or want to join a team, you can call 619-934-9137 or come in to sign up at 425 Imperial Beach Blvd. The league will be held on Tuesday nights at the Boys & Girls Club of Imperial Beach Gym located at 847 Encina Ave. The anticipated game times are 7 pm, 8 pm, and 9 pm.
