4Walls and Volunteers get Lots of Work done Thursday on IBs Peoples Park at Seacoast Drive and Date Avenue.

Under the direction of Eider DeMello volunteers are learning how to make landscaping rocks with rebar and burlap for frames covered with rocks and cement to be distributed around the Peoples Park for seating, landscaping and decorative purposes as part of the project under the guidance of 4Walls International led by Steve Wright.

4Walls International is a non-profit organization that works on beautification projects using recycled materials or materials that are environmental friendly along with DeMello Design..

Today other volunteers were working on laying borders for walkways, flatten out or grading the area, and smoothing out man made rocks and preparing them for painting.

Lots of volunteers are still needed for Friday and over the weekend and there will be classes everyday so that you can learn these skills so you will be able to do these projects for your own yards at home.
