IB Community Rallying Around Lord Family whose Son, Sam, is in Coma after Car Accident in Mexico while coming Home from Surf Contest

Sam Lord is in Radys Children's Hospital in San Diego after getting a Medivac Ride there from Mexico. The Lord Family is getting lots of support from the Imperial Beach Community.
Fundraisers have been planned by the Imperial Beach South Bay Kiwanis and the Imperial Beach Swim Team with many local businesses pitching in presents to be raffled off.

Sam Lord, was recently in a car accident while surfing in Mexico. To help cover medical costs IBST has decided to hold a fundraiser dinner at Boll Weevil from 5-8:30 pm on September 29. All you need to do is bring your family and grab dinner!! 25% of total profit from that night will be donated to the Lord family!! IBST will also be holding a raffle during the night with prizes from Surf Hut, Coronado Brewing Company, Pizza Luigi's, Barrels, Bibbies and many other amazing local companies!

The Imperial Beach South Bay Kiwanis are also holding a Fundraiser at the Installation Lunch for their new President, Valerie Acevez on Tuesday September 20th at 12pm noon at the Imperial Beach Boys & Girls Club. The public is Invited.
