Friday Fishing Report for June 10th 2016 from Alex Pina
It’s been all about the latest Bluefin arriving of our local coast. Many local anglers have had a chance to toss a plug at these big blues that are ranging from 70 to well over 200lbs. Bring your 50 lb. gear and some poppers.
Fish are from 40 miles southwest of us to US waters.
The fishing off the IB pier has been steadily improving. The first good size thresher was landed last week with a good mix of Mack’s and Perch in the mid pier area. Nothing like Bluefin fishing in local waters. Rick Maxa with a 205 lb. Bluefin landed on 50 Lb. mono and a jig stick.
