The Imperial Beach History Group Mission Statement

The Imperial Beach History Group has several goals. It was formed to help the City of Imperial Beach celebrate its 60th Anniversary. It will be putting out a large booth all day at the Mayors Breakfast of July 15th showing off the history we have been able to organize for display. This will hopefully be repeated at the Symphony by the Sea.

Another goal is to bring in by loan or gift any Imperial Beach History people are willing to share with us.

Organize and/or Catalog the large amount of history that we have

Another goal is to someday have a history museum were the city’s history can permanently be on display. Look into becoming our own chapter of the South Bay Historical Society. Our goal is to maintain access to all Imperial Beach history any time we want.
