Tijuana River is Open Again. Flooded Estuary to get some Relief. Bryan Brillhart catches photographs of work on the opening of the river mouth and flooding inside the Estuary that getting the river mouth open should hopefully fix.

The Tijuana river mouth is open again. Here we are looking at it from the Estuary side of being flooded and the problems it has caused for birds, many of them on the endangered list, to get their food when the mud they normally forage in has been covered over with water.
These are all photographs shared with us by Bryan Brillhart.

Thank you to Imperial Beach mayor Serge Dedina who let me know work was going on to open the river mouth and "Thank you" to Brian Collins who gave me all the info on the project to open the rivermouth.
Bryan's photos caught birds everywhere. Probably looking for food with their natural habitat flooded.
