Mar Vista High School Visited by an Irish All Star Team on St Patrick's Day demonstrating Gaelic Football. Mar Vista High was among Eleven San Diego area Schools who hosted Ladies Gaelic Football All-Stars from Ireland. 


They visited Mar Vista High School on St. Patrick’s day.  Along with 11 other schools from La Jolla to Otay & IB.  over 2000 kids on St. Patrick’s day, was a great week with the all-stars. 

The Irish Times had this to say "Armagh and Cork players also showcased the game to 400 students at the Mar Vista High School by explaining the rules, exhibiting the basic skills and playing a match. In this second video, three students who have never played GAA before give their thoughts on ladies football, while Cork All Star Annie Walsh is delighted to have made an impact."
