The Imperial Beach Boy and Cub Scout Troop #866 had a Blast with the Annual Pinewood Derby held at St James Church.

As a boy or Cub Scout their are always a few things you look forward to with great anticipation.

Of course all the camping trips and outings are something the Boy and Cub Scouts love. However, their was one event that didn't involve traveling that i always looked forward to as a Scout and that was the annual Pinewood Derby.

So much was always involved with the Pinewood Derby and that's what made it great. First their was a weight limit of the car. If your car weight to much, it couldn't race. Then
there was having to figure out if putting the wight in the front or the back of the car would help it run the fastest. And then of course, you had the shape of your car, there were just so many things you had to consider, it was a big part of what made it great.

The best part of course was when you finally got to race your cars. so here you are, photos of the 2016 Troop 866 Pinewood Derby! I hope you enjoy them as much as the scouts did.
