 SBHS News . . . 

Our next meeting on April 21 at 6 pm in the Chula Vista Library auditorium will feature representatives from the Imperial Beach 60th Anniversary committee. They will speak on the plans being made for the celebration to be held during the city's Sun and Sea Festival weekend starting July 15. The committee has a Facebook page "Imperial Beach 60 years of History and more" at is asking for contributions of historic photos for display at the Festival. (Dick Pennick had planned to speak at ourApril 21 meeting about the NC&O railroad, but due to a family matter he has had to postpone to a future date.) 

The SBHS is helping the committee gather information about Imperial Beach history. We will join them at their booth this coming Saturday afternoon, March 19, at the 13th annual Taste of IB. Tickets are available at
