Imperial Beach and Coronado, Contact HarvestCROPS and get your Fruit picked off your Trees and help the Needy at the same time.

HarvestCORP ( is  a non-profit organization that harvests produce from residential backyards with the owners permission. We bring out a volunteer crew to pick for a couple hours and take the produce to food pantries and kitchens for distribution to needy people. We operate all over the County but especially need volunteers in the South County area at this time.

Please go to our website and fill out a volunteer application if you would like to help us by harvesting. If you have backyard produce that you would like to donate please fill out that section and we will get back with you to schedule a date, we also give out tax deductible receipts.

We are always on the look out for in kind or cash donation for gas, etc.

Thank you for your help in ending hunger in San Diego County.

Please also contact Linda Heath locally to volunteer here in IB and Coronado to bring food and fresh produce to the Broken Loaf food pantry on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 11am each week! Thank you and look forward to hearing from you. Let's not let our wonderful food go to waste on the trees or in the ground with so many people locally going hungry!
