IB History Group plans Booth for Taste of IB. Public can still get involved!

Friday a meeting was held concerning IB's History and as part of the city's 60 year anniversary having a booth at the Taste of IB and the Mayor's Breakfast which is part of the Sun and Sea Festival.

Items can be given to the group or loaned to this group for display. If loaned we will have a loan agreement available from the city.

The meeting was held in the community room at City Hall Friday at 4pm.. Since Dig Imperial Beach or doesn't have a product to put out on display for Taste of IB,  Paul Spear has donated his space at Taste of IB to the city so they can display the History Booth there.

The meeting was attended by Lorie Bragg, Pat Bilbray, Tim O'Neil, Ed Vea, Linda Heath and Paul Spear.

We will be meeting again Saturday morning March 19th at 9am at the Community Room to get organized and plan out the displays.

If you have any questions regarding the History Booth or how to contribute your IB History as a gift or loan to the group, please contact Paul Spear at 619-844-9142 or

Thanks to the Gary Evans Story and Terry Walston we are displaying some photos now!
