SD Habitat for Humanity holds Home Dedication for Six Families in Imperial Beach on Sunday

San Diego Habitat for Humanity holds Home Dedication for Six Families in Imperial Beach on Sunday at 10th Street and Donax Avenue.Six Families earned homes by each adult volunteering 250 hours of their time working towards the completion of their home with Habitat for Humanity.
On hand representing the city was Imperial Beach Mayor Serge Dedina along with his wife Emily and City Council Member Lorie Bragg to help celebrate the dedication of the new homes and the six families who were presented the keys.
Representing SD Habitat for Humanity was CEO and President Lori Holt Pfeiler and Lea Zanjani from the Board of Directors. Also attending were Construction Superintendents Joe Carton and Mike Shear.
Speaking on behalf of the Six Families in the Presentation Ceremony was Fernando Torres who expressed great appreciation to Habitat for Humanity and all the volunteers and sponsors who made the days events possible.
The families were also presented gifts from local Sponsors and a hand painted landscape for their home.
