City of Imperial Beach Arts & Culture
The City of Imperial Beach is interested in bringing art to the community!  Through a collaboration with the newly formed IB Arts Bureau we're doing just that!
Tidelands Appreciation Art Contest
The City of Imperial Beach is accepting artwork that celebrates one of our most valuable resources, our Tidelands!  Our Tidelands are the beaches along our coast, the ocean with it's aquatic life (e.g. birds, fish, mammals, plankton, aquatic plants, etc.).  There are lots of different activities we participate in our Tidelands which include surfing, fishing, bird watching, etc.

The City, in partnership with the newly formed IB Arts Bureau, invites you, professional and inspiring artists, to submit your interpretation of this most beautiful asset our City has for are Artwork Submission program.

Artwork can be in the form of drawings, photographs, paintings, collages, or any 2-dimensional medium you prefer.  If you use pastels, pencils, water colors, or whatever other tools you use!

We will review all submissions and once approved, winners will have their artwork used in City projects like public art displays.

When choosing artwork, we will consider creativity as well as how well your submission fits into our theme "Tidelands Appreciation".  If not selected as a winner for this competition, we may still use your artwork in future projects.

You can submit your artwork (& the required IB Artwork Submission Program Waiver) through the link below.  All we ask is that the you submit a high resolution version of your art and that you include the file name of your art onthe waiver when you submit it otherwise we won't be able to use your submission.
