- head high to 3 ft overhead occ. 10 ft.
Hello, this is David with the report for Monday afternoon.

Afternoon Report for South SD: Surf is still pumping thanks to our WNW swell with overhead surf at any break with decent exposure along with well overhead sets. Standout winter spots are running double overhead+ on sets. Winds are light onshore at report time with mostly clean surface conditions. Tide is now on the upswing and filling back in after hitting a .4' low at 11:30am. Many of the areas beach-breaks are a little walled/sectiony but there are some workable corners in the mix with points/reefs seeing the best shape overall.

Short-Term Forecast for South SD: Tide push over the next few hours should really help improve the surf throughout the region. Latest hi-res wind models show just a light to locally moderate WNW wind through the remainder of the afternoon, so if that is the case the surf should stay pretty fun.
