Thank you for the article about the IBWC however I would like to point out that one lady "Donna Moore" is one of our most valuable members. She is our Fundraiser and has done an excellent job the last 3 years in helping get the funds necessary to keep the IBWC able to continue their work. She is the one person who comes up with the ideas and goes out to the businesses and asks for donations. Without Donna Moore the IBWC would not be as successful as it has been the last few years. She is our MVP. Marirose Fernandez
Note from the editor: There are hundreds and thousands of people in Imperial Beach that are heroes or stars every day. This includes, but not limited to, parents, teachers, coaches, public officials and citizens from the City of Imperial Beach and we thank them all for what they do. If you have a special star who is deserving, feel free to submit an article on them to DigImperialBeach@gmail.com.
