Imperial Beach woke up this Morning to see the Damage left behind from Yesterday’s Storm. Dig Imperial Beach Reporter, David Smith, was up at the crack of dawn to get these great photos!

 Watching and waiting. I don't see the high waves predicted (so far). Sand will be lost...

Clearing now. An hour before high tide. Western horizon looks dark and ominous. Time to get my camera...

A few pics from this morning's high tide and big waves. Not too much flooding except the south end of Seacoast. Nature at work.

The tide wore away a few yards of sand but that was about it. It will be similar tomorrow. I think we're home free. Of course there are more super high tides next month. Working a two-part story about the Coronado Islands--part from the water and part from the air.
